Tree Trimming

Trees make Coconut Grove a great place to live.  It takes a lifetime for a neighborhood to develop the rich canopy of the Grove.  An improperly trimmed tree never recovers, is weakened in a storm, and the damaged tree lessens your property value.  A permit is required to trim any tree more than 25%.
Hat-Racking
is illegal
- Penalties for illegal tree trimming can be very large.

Code enforcement is patrolling the neighborhood for illegal tree trimming.  Unfortunately, some of our homeowners have received summons for violations.
If you trim your trees improperly, you can expect to receive a summons for violations.

Trash and Garbage Pickup

Garbage pickup is on Tuesdays and Fridays.  Garbage containers can be placed curbside the evening of the day before pickup and must be removed by the morning after pickup.

Trash Pickup is only on Fridays.  Trash can be placed curbside the day before(Thursday). Some homeowners are putting out trash before Thursday.
The Net office is no longer giving out warnings, they are now giving summons for violations.

This is your neighborhood, please keep it clean.

Stop Signs

Tickets for running our stop signs have been given out and are continuing to be given out – If you do not stop, you will be ticketed.  There are no exceptions or warnings.  These signs are there for good reason, especially including the children in the neighborhood.

Homeowner Dues

Dues are needed to pay for the upkeep of the neighborhood.  Please pay your dues as soon as possible.  Dues continue to be $70 dollars per year, if you can afford a little more it will go towards improving your neighborhood.

Please understand that it is this association’s dues that pay for the planting, watering, lighting, and repair of the entrances, the painting of the walls, the association accountant, and the annual picnic.

The association’s officers are volunteers donating their time and effort to make this a better place for you to live.  This is your neighborhood and we have bills to pay.  $70 per year is not a lot of money.
